GRESB introduces REAL Solutions suite to meet industry demand for asset insights

On March 19, 2024, GRESB, the leading global sustainability benchmark for real assets, proudly announced the upcoming introduction of REAL Solutions, a dynamic toolkit aimed at empowering real asset managers and investors with actionable insights into asset sustainability, resilience, and efficiency. REAL Solutions utilises aggregated asset-level data from GRESB’s annual real estate assessment, offers actionable information on targets, operational performance, certifications, energy ratings, and efficiency measures, enabling investors and managers to comprehend and enhance asset performance effectively. The inaugural tool from the REAL Solutions product suite, REAL Benchmarks, is set to launch in April. Tailored for real estate managers and listed companies, REAL Benchmarks provides a customisable dashboard for private and secure analysis of each asset’s contribution to portfolio performance, allowing comparison against performance benchmarks derived from the GRESB database.

REAL Benchmarks will offer year-round availability and seamless updates, with plans for additional functionalities over time to support advanced analysis and simulation. In addition to supporting managers with actionable benchmarking insights, REAL Solutions sets a new standard for sustainable investor-owned real estate by offering unprecedented insights into global real estate performance based on aggregated, real-world data from the GRESB database. REAL Solutions provides median consumption figures for energy, water, and waste across various property types, showcasing performance metrics for sustainable investor-owned real estate. GRESB will release detailed global benchmark figures in the coming weeks and months.
