About Karl
Karl Van Weehaege is Assistant Director and Head of Lending Services for our Costa Rica delivery centre. He joined the organisation in 2013. He manages high-performance teams that support US regional banks.
Prior to this, Karl worked as a Fixed Income analyst for buy-side and sell-side clients covering multiple sectors before moving to supervisory roles. As an analyst and supervisor, his strong knowledge of global credit markets helped him provide technical expertise to clients from other accounts also.
Karl has been leading multiple training initiatives in the company. He has also led the Emergency Response Team at the Costa Rica delivery centre.
Prior to joining Acuity, Karl obtained degrees from Durham University (Managerial Finance) and the University of Costa Rica (Political Science). In his free time, Karl enjoys hiking, reading and exercising.
