“Rise of machines in capital markets: Robo Advisors” featured in the Daily FT

Rohan Fernando, Vice President (Quantitative Research), authored an article, “Rise of machines in capital markets: Robo Advisors,” in the Daily FT.

The article focuses on the advent of “Robo Advisors” – a technology on the brink of changing the capital markets industry. “Robo Advisors” will offer asset-management firms the opportunity to replace human advisors while providing high scalability. The technology can theoretically cover an unlimited number of clients, which would reduce management fees and commissions drastically as fund-management organizations would no longer need to maintain a large payroll of human wealth managers.
