About Pradeepa

Pradeepa heads Acuity Knowledge Partners’ (Acuity’s) fundamental Credit Research practice and has over 18 years of work experience. She is proficient in setting up and managing large client engagements. Pradeepa is responsible for handling client relationships and managing a large pool of credit analysts. The Credit research team currently support 50+ global clients including buy-side and sell-side research houses.

Pradeepa has a sound knowledge of all asset classes in the credit space – high-grade, high-yield and distressed debt across developed and emerging markets. She is a municipal and public finance research asset class expert.

A research professional with around 18 years of experience in the financial services sector, Pradeepa started her career in 2006 as a Credit Analyst, supporting a large hedge fund client.

Within a period of two years, she started handling supervisory tasks across credit accounts in Acuity. Her role expanded to supporting and grooming potential team leaders, ensuring quality of work and client satisfaction.

Within six years of joining the company, she was chosen to lead all new client conversations and take complete responsibility of new pilot opportunities. During this time, she ensured she became a subject-matter expert on all asset classes in the credit space. This resulted in her contributing to preparing marketing collateral and sales material.

She was appointed Head of Credit Research Operations in 2017.

Prior to joining Acuity, Pradeepa worked as an Audit Associate in the Audit and Assurance wing of a global audit major. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

Pradeepa Chairs the “Prevention Of Sexual Harassment” Committee for Acuity’s Bangalore office. She was also the co- chair of the Women’s network in Acuity.

Pradeepa enjoys travelling, particularly trekking and meeting new people. She also enjoys cooking and shopping for green heirloom products, and is an active yoga practitioner. She is a qualified chartered accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and hence is a member of the Institute.
