CLIENT CHALLENGES

  • Client – a US-based global market research and consulting firm backed by a private equity firm with USD80bn in AuM
  • Wanted to expand revenue opportunities, increase cost savings and enhance efficiencies and operational flexibility
  • Wanted to outsource its in-house survey-related operations, with an indicative monthly volume of up to 30,000 hours of work
  • Required a methodology-driven engagement with robust governance and ongoing IS reporting, wanting to be involved in all aspects of the work

OUR APPROACH

  • Created a core team of operations (Assistant Director and above designations) at the Gurgaon Delivery Centre
  • Created a transition plan with milestones and set up infrastructure/technology/data security and compliance processes
  • Deployed a team of 188 members from different departments such as Market Research/Consulting, Technology and Compliance
  • Trained team members in line with the client’s methodologies and requirements
  • Set up processes/KPIs for different business scenarios
  • Created SOPs for all the functions involved

IMPACT DELIVERED

  • ~40% cost savings owing to economical offshore rates and economies of scale
  • ~50% reduction in client involvement in implementing and managing the solution, helping save additional costs
  • Helped the end client win more bids through presenting our solutions, increasing the client’s annual revenue
