  • Improved data quality

  • Scalable solution

CLIENT
  • Top-tier Europe-based asset manager
  • Key challenges were
    • - Manual data extraction
    • Lack of a centralised repository
OUR APPROACH
  • Deployed a team of experienced technology subject matter experts as part of credit research services to extract data off the analyst models and build a central data repository for scorecards and other cross-model analysis needs
  • Built a highly customisable model data extractor to collect and aggregate scorecard data into a NoSQL data store
  • Built an API layer to provide aggregated access to scorecard data initially and later expand the data collector to other sections of sector-based analyst models
  • Provided capability to connect to outbound API endpoints, allowing sector- and region-based data aggregation, in turn enabling analysts to conduct further analytics and visualisations
IMPACT DELIVERED
  • 100% automated publishing of model data off the primary workflow
  • Improved data quality due to additional quality gate deployed to reduce human error in data entry
  • Scalable solution for other model data extraction
