Two decades ago, the slogan, “Go digital or go home”, drove the marketing function of asset managers and the broader financial services industry. In the race to be the first movers to the digital landscape, organizations strived to conquer communication channels before anyone else did. Those left behind fell into oblivion, unnoticed by the digital customer.

Currently, the game has changed and the rules have become more restrictive and complex. The entire industry now has presence online. The digital landscape has become a hotbed of competition with improvisation and innovation constantly being sought after for mere survival. The regulatory environment is constantly changing and compliance is becoming increasingly complicated to manage, especially in the financial services space. It is not enough to “Go digital”, brands have to thrive and beat competition in the digital game.
