Space investing: Europe’s growing space sector

Geo Thomas, Assistant Director, Acuity Knowledge Partners, recently shared insights on the state of the space industry, noting that European companies secured five of the ten major space tech investment deals in Q1 2023. He notes that the growth of the European space industry is good news for the global space industry. It is a sign that the space industry is becoming more globalized, and that new players are emerging to challenge the dominance of the United States.
‘Most of the newly listed players are trading significantly below their initial valuation levels,’ he explains.
