The Trends Edition

As we inch towards the closure of 2021 and look into 2022, the global economy seems set to register a strong rebound across markets. While concerns around Omicron continue, negative real interest rates, a strong equity risk premium and flows seeking positive real returns are anticipated to propel markets higher in 2022.The talent war is expected to continue. Investor flows into emerging markets should also benefit from the better macro environment globally.

Yet again this year, we remained focused on providing the best services to our global client base. Not only did we thrive, we outperformed our benchmarks. I am also delighted to share that Acuity Knowledge Partners is now certified as a Great Place to Work. This is the first step for an organisation on its journey to build and sustain a high-trust, high-performance culture, as we equally value both employee growth and development and the delivery of world-class services to our global customers. We express our sincere gratitude for the opportunity to work with you, and we look forward to strengthening our partnership next year as well.

Every year, we provide a global perspective to investment professionals about issues and trends in the industry to help them step into the new year with confidence. I am delighted to share our year-end special edition that captures and aggregates leading trends and forecasts for 2022 across a broad horizon of asset management, investment banking, private equity, lending and consulting.

We thank you for your continued association and your valuable interactions with us in 2021. We wish you a safe and peaceful holiday season and the very best for 2022.
