Education/ Experience and Skill Requirement
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar career.

    • English, oral and written knowledge at fluid level

    • Advanced level knowledge of Excel.

    • Experience in consulting or research is preferable, but not a requirement.

    • Should be comfortable working with strict SLAs.

    • High attention to detail.

    • Ability to prioritize and adept to client needs.

    • Adept at web based search

    • Reasonable understanding of basic financial concepts

    • Self-motivated and quick learner

    • Interacts with the respective team, reporting to Team Lead and Manager

    • Receiving instructions and seeking clarification, if required.

    • Interacts directly with client.


Responsibilities

    Conducting exhaustive secondary research through general web search or across different third party data sources such as Bloomberg, Thomson One, Factset, Factiva, Capital IQ, Merger Market etc. and sharing output in pdf, or in MS Word / Excel. Illustrative type of information research requirements are listed below:

    • Information Retrieval: Provision of Company information packs, comprising company filings, broker research, new runs and other specified information.

    • Company and Sector Analysis: Company research and industry specific or macro-economic research.

    • News Runs: Filtering of relevant news related to M&A, management, material company announcements using google or third party paid sources.

    • Market Analysis: Sourcing of market data such as share prices, currency rates, ratios from multiple third party data sources.

    • Other Research: Researching technical publications, regulatory frameworks, and analytical research.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Implement and act in accordance with Acuity Knowledge Partners Information Security Policy.

    • Identify risks if working with external parties.

    • Ensure information security when dealing with customers.
